"Come on [Name], you can do your chores another time, if we don't leave soon we'll be late!"
"Kuroo. You know my mom already doesn't approve of you, she thinks you're only a bad influence for me. And if I can prove I'm responsible and mature enough, then maybe she'll stop nagging me, or back off a bit, you know? And besides, we still have plenty of time. And if I don't do my chores, she'll try to ground me or hold it over my head that you really are a negative influence on me. I don't want that, do you?" You lecture as you do dishes, finally rinsing the last few plates.
He sighs, "No, I don't want that. But can you at least hurry then?"
A tick mark appears on your forehead. "If you really want to leave, you can help with chores. I still have to do laundry and wipe the mirrors."
"Fine, fine." You steal a quick glance at him and notice his sly grin. You sigh, it's his scheming face, you recognize. "And just what type of laundry would that be? Hm, delicates, maybe?" He smirks.
You blush and begin drying your hands, "F-Fine then! Don't help me! But if I do laundry by myself and we're late, it's your fault!"
"W-Wait I was kidding! Kidding!"
You hand him a towel and spray bottle, "Go do the mirrors."
He sighs but obeys.
"But [Name]," he calls from the other room, "Why do today what you can do tomorrow?"
You bite your tongue, "What's today but yesterday's tomorrow?" You smile cheekily at him, knowing he has no comebacks to that. He pouts.
You giggle, "Alright, alright, hold on, I'm almost done, geez." He brightens up at that and you hurry.
Soon you're changing into your preselected outfit and begin to feel excited for your plans for tonight. You were going with Kuroo to see a concert and then go eat, and then hang out at his place for a bit. You remembered how one of his friends knows the band so he was able to hook you two up with the tickets.
You hum as you fix your hair, giving yourself one last look over. Deeming yourself ready enough, you grab your bag and keys and lock up, your childhood-friend-turned lover, current boyfriend Kuroo Testurou waiting for you in his Mustang.
Your mother thought bad of him, a rebel punk that was always up to no good. She thought he was in some sort of a gang affiliation, or was involved drugs or drank. He did none of that. Yeah he might pull pranks and act as a class clown, but he was also Nekoma's volleyball team captain, and had decent grades. Yes, he might be a bad influence sometimes, but you were a good, strong girl and he would never hurt you, but protect and keep you safe instead. He might be a bit devious, but he was yours and you were his, and you loved him more than anything.
And you were willing to wait for your mother to see that.

The evening was serene. The setting sun above decorated the sky with various oranges, purples, and blues. A light breeze would occasionally pass by, always light at the touch. Even the streets were rather calm with a few pedestrians filling the almost empty streets. There was no boisterous noise to interrupt the calm of the evening.
It really was a perfect evening.
A perfect evening to go to the pub that is.
It had been another difficult day working at the castle, and the four knights were headed to the pub. These four knights traveled through the street their favorite location to rest.

Don’t think about the choices that you make. It became somewhat of a mantra for the two of you, the troublesome duo. He had your back and you had his, and the two of you were practically inseparable. Yet it was impossible to ignore the people spitting at the two of you on the street, the jeering taunts and laughter heard at school.
He was all you had. Nothing seemed to fix that, no matter how many times you tried to change, or how many times you tried to sa

The words I've said have gone with the wind
It started raining.
You look out of your window and saw the small drops of rain falling and cascading down the glass. You looked down at your book and saw two wet spots on the page you were on. That's when you realized that you were also crying, like the heavens above.
"Today was dreadful." you thought about the events that had occurred earlier. You've seen your dad's real personality. He's hidden it for a long time now, even when you were a child. You concluded that your mom had also known it. She may even had experienced it. But, what you had hoped was that he wouldn't even hurt anyone outside t
